And yet another older song finally gets posted. I wrote and recorded this song a few years ago about how, as we go through life and get closer to the end, we tend to start to disappear in a sense. The feeling can be there all through life but tends to get stronger and more conscious in the later part of life. I did the vocals, guitar, and minimal keyboards. Thanks to Apple Loops for the rest of the music. I am puzzle boy, I fit the loops together like a jigsaw puzzle! I hope you enjoy.

I wrote and recorded this song a few years ago after a string of mass shootings. I don’t remember which ones because there have been so many. I did the vocals, the occasional hypnotic guitar, and added the gunshots. I used some Apple Loops for the rest of the music. As usual, I fit the loops together like a jigsaw puzzle! I wrote and recorded a song that is “very loosely” inspired by the Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy books. (link below, click the orange and white arrow). Mainly it refers to the ultimate answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything. Spoiler alert, the ultimate answer is 42. I took a few liberties. OK, maybe more than a few.

This is our annual trip to Seattle for the Bumbershoot Music and Arts Festival. We’ve gone every year from 2001-2019 and now again in 2023. Thanks, Covid, for the canceled years. We stayed a few nights in nearby San Diego so we could attend the Wonderfront Music Festival. Since we had moved down south, it was close and relatively easy. It’s a three day music festival, held right on the San Diego waterfront with multiple (eight) stages and attractions. This was our first time attending (and only the second time it has been held), but we will most likely be going again in 2023. Anyway, there’s what we did there in 2022.
